About the event
Step into Nature and clear your mind.
Spending more time in nature is beneficial for our physical and mental health and helps us to connect with the natural world around us. With this guided nature walk, unlock a new world of plants and notice more in your environment than you ever have before.
Whether you have prior experience or no knowledge at all, gain a new found appreciation for your environment by learning to identify edible & medicinal plants, as well as their poisonous lookalikes. Further, we will dive deep into mythology and folklore surrounding the plants we identify.
What will you learn?
- How to explore the edible & medicinal plants that thrive in London city
- Responsible and ethical guidelines for foraging
- Gain knowledge on different plant properties that make them valuable food & medicine
We recommend wearing long sleeves and trousers. And bringing a warm, water-proof jacket, as we all know the weather can be unpredictable. Also, wear a pair of shoes you don't mind getting muddy. Feel free to bring a notepad to take notes.
*Children under the age of 16 come free. Just send us an e-mail to let us know they will be coming.
